Prayer to Nyoshul Khen Rinpoche

adapted from the words of Kyabjé Dudjom Rinpoche

བརྟན་མཁས་ཡོན་ཏན་ཀུན་རྫོགས་སྡེ་སྣོད་འཆང་། །

ten khé yönten kün dzok denö chang

You have perfected all the precious qualities of discipline and learning, and hold all the classes of Buddha’s teaching,

འཇམ་དབྱངས་བླ་མའི་བྱིན་ཐོབ་རིག་པ་འཛིན། །

jamyang lamé jin tob rigpa dzin

Graced with the blessing of the lama Mañjuśrī, you are a vidyādhara master

ངེས་གསང་རྡོ་རྗེ་སྙིང་པོའི་ཤིང་རྟ་མཆོག །

ngé sang dorjé nyingpö shingta chok

Supreme at conveying the definitive secret teaching of Dzogpachenpo—the Vajra Essence.

དཔལ་ལྡན་བླ་མའི་ཞབས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

palden lamé zhab la solwa deb

Glorious lama, at your feet we pray!

ཚེ་དང་སྒྲུབ་པ་མཐའ་རུ་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་། །

tsé dang drubpa ta ru chinpa dang

Grant your blessings, so our life and practice may reach their fullest extent,

སེམས་ཉིད་གནས་ལུགས་རྟོགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

semnyi neluk tokpar jingyi lob

And we may realize the fundamental nature of mind!

ཅེས་པ་གོང་གསལ་༧སྐྱབས་རྗེ་འགྲོ་འདུལ་གླིང་པའི་གསུང་བྱིན་ཅན་གསོལ་འདེབས་སུ་ཁ་བསྒྱུར་མངའ་རིས་ཀྱི་བནྡེ་ཡེ་ཤེས་བཟང་པོས་བགྱིས་པ་སྟེ། དོན་བརྒྱུད་རྟོགས་པའི་དགོངས་པ་རྒྱུད་ལ་བཙན་ཐབས་སུ་འཕོ་བའི་རྒྱུར་གྱུར་ཅིག། །།

Thus, Yeshe Sangpo, a monk from Ngari, adapted the blessed words of Kyabjé Drodul Lingpa (Dudjom Rinpoche). May this be a cause for the transmission of the realization of the ultimate transmission, forceful and intense.
