Prayer for Swift Rebirth of Jamyang Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö¹

འཇ༵མ་དཔལ་དབྱ༵ངས་དངོས་འདྲེན་པ་ཆོ༵ས་ཀྱི༵་རྗེ། །

jampal yang ngö drenpa chö kyi jé

Guide and lord of Dharma, Mañjughoṣa in person,

གང་ཁྱོད་བསམ་བཞིན་གཟུགས་སྐུར་བཞེངས་ལགས་ན། །

gang khyö samzhin zukkur zheng lak na

Return intentionally by adopting a rūpakāya form.

ད་དུང་བདག་སོགས་ཡུན་དུ་མི་སྐྱོང་བར། །

dadung dak sok yündu mi kyongwar

For how could you discontinue your care for us

ཆོས་སྐུའི་ཀློང་ན་བདེ་བར་ཅི་སྟེ་མནལ། །

chökü long na dewar chité nal

While remaining in the bliss of the dharmakāya expanse?

དཔའ་བོ་སྙིང་རྗེའི་བློ༵་གྲོ༵ས་མཆོག་མངའ་བ། །

pawo nyingjé lodrö chok ngawa

Supremely intelligent and compassionate warrior,

ཁྱོད་ཐུགས་ཞི་བའི་རོ་ལ་མ་དགྱེས་པར། །

khyö tuk zhiwé ro la magyepar

Do not delight in the savour of quiescence, I pray,

གདུལ་བྱ་ཡལ་བར་མི་འདོར་བརྩེ་བ་ཆེས། །

dulja yalwar mi dor tsewa ché

But, with the great love that does not forsake disciples,

དུས་འདིར་སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྣང་བརྙན་མྱུར་བསྟན་གསོལ། །

dü dir trulpé nangnyen nyur ten sol

Swiftly reveal your emanated representation for this time.

དེར་ཡང་བར་ཆད་སྒྲིབ་གཡོགས་ལས་གྲོལ་ཏེ། །

der yang barché drib yok lé drol té

Then, freed from obstacles and the veils of obscuration,

མཁྱེན་བརྩེའི་གཟི་བརྗིད་འབར་བའི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་མཆོག །

khyentsé ziji barwé kyilkhor chok

Let this supreme maṇḍala of splendorous knowledge and love

ཡོངས་རྫོགས་རྒྱལ་བསྟན་མཁའ་ལ་རབ་གསལ་བས། །

yongdzok gyalten kha la rabsal bé

Shine brightly in the sky of the entire teaching of the Victorious, and

སྐལ་བཟང་ཕན་བདེའི་པད་ཚལ་འབྱེད་མཛད་ཤོག །

kalzang pendé petsal jé dzé shok

For the fortunate, cause the lotus garden of benefit and happiness to bloom.

ཅེས་འཇམ་མགོན་མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་གི་མཆོག་སྤྲུལ་མྱུར་འབྱོན་བདེན་ཚིག་ཏུ་འཇིགས་བྲལ་ཡེ་ཤེས་རྡོ་རྗེས་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་པ་དོན་ལྡན་དུ་གྱུར་ཅིག། །།

Thus, Jigdral Yeshe Dorje composed this prayer as words of truth for the swift return of the supreme tulku of Jamgön Khyentse Dorje Chang. May it prove significant!
