Expeditious Activity Torma Offering

མཆོད་གཏོར་རྣམས།  རྃ་ཡྃ་ཁྃ།  ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་ཧ་ཧོ་ཧྲཱིཿས་ལན་གསུམ་གྱིས་གཏོར་མ་སྦྱངས་སྤེལ་བྱ།

Purify and multiply the offering tormas by reciting “Raṃ yaṃ khaṃ” and “Oṃ āḥ hūṃ ha ho hrīḥ!” three times.

ཧཱུྃ།  སྐུ་གསུམ་ཞིང་ཁམས་རབ་འབྱམས་ནས།  །

hung, ku sum zhingkham rabjam né

Hūṃ. Out of the infinite realms of the three kāyas,

བསྟན་སྲུང་མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལ་ནི།  །

tensung mahakala ni

Appears Mahākāla, guardian of the teachings,

དཔལ་ལྡན་རྡོ་རྗེ་གུར་གྱི་མགོན།  །

palden dorjé gur gyi gön

Glorious Vajra Pañjaranātha,

ཡུམ་ཆེན་ཨེ་ཀ་ཙ་ཊི་དང་།  །

yumchen ekadzati dang

The Great Mother Ekajaṭī,

ལྷ་མོ་འདོད་ཁམས་དབང་ཕྱུག་མ།  །

lhamo dökham wangchukma

Īśvarī, Goddess of the Desire Realm,

དམ་ཅན་པཱུ་ཏྲ་མིང་སྲིང་དང་།  །

damchen pu tra mingsing dang

Oath-bound Putra, brother and sister,

གཉན་མགོན་ཆེན་པོ་ཞལ་བཞི་པ།  །

nyen gön chenpo zhal zhipa

Great Four-faced Caturmukha, Protector of Nyen,

ཡུམ་ཆེན་སྲིང་མོ་བཞི་ལ་སོགས།  །

yumchen singmo zhi lasok

The Great Mother, Four Sisters and the rest—

བསྟན་སྲུང་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པ་རྣམས།  །

tensung khor dang chepa nam

Guardians of the teachings together with their retinues,

མཆོད་གཏོར་གསེར་སྐྱེམས་རྒྱ་ཆེན་དང་།  །

chötor serkyem gyachen dang

Through this vast offering torma and golden drink,

རྟེན་རྫས་བསྐང་རྫས་སྒྲུབ་རྫས་སོགས།  །

tendzé kangdzé drubdzé sok

Support, fulfilment and accomplishment substances, and so on—

དངོས་འབྱོར་ཡིད་སྤྲུལ་དཔག་མེད་ཀྱིས།  །

ngöjor yitrul pakmé kyi

May these boundless offerings, actual and emanated by the mind,

མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལའི་ཐུགས་དམ་བསྐང་།  །

mahakalé tukdam kang

Fulfil the wishes of Mahākāla,

ཨེ་ཀ་ཛ་ཊིའི་ཐུགས་དམ་བསྐང་།  །

ekadzati tukdam kang

Fulfil the wishes of Ekajaṭī,

འདོད་ཁམས་ལྷ་མོའི་ཐུགས་དམ་བསྐང་།  །

dökham lhamö tukdam kang

Fulfil the wishes of the Desire Realm Goddess,

ཞིང་སྐྱོང་དབང་ཕྱུག་གདོང་བཞི་པ།  །

zhingkyong wangchuk dong zhipa

Delight and fulfil the exacting demands

ཡུམ་ཆེན་སྲིང་མོ་བཞི་དང་བཅས།  །

yumchen singmo zhi dangché

Of Caturmukha, powerful lord and kṣetrapāla,

ཐུགས་དམ་གཉན་པོ་དགྱེས་པར་བསྐང་།  །

tukdam nyenpo gyepar kang

And of the Great Mother and four sisters,

བཀའ་སྡོད་རྒྱུད་གསུམ་དྲེགས་པའི་ཚོགས།  །

kadö gyü sum drekpé tsok

Fulfil the wishes of all attendant deities and arrogant spirits

འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པའི་ཐུགས་དམ་བསྐང་།  །

khor dang chepé tukdam kang

Of the three classes of tantra, together with their retinues.

ཐུགས་དང་འགལ་འཁྲུལ་ཉམས་ཆགས་བཤགས།  །

tuk dang galtrul nyamchak shak

I confess my offences, confusions, impairments and breakages.

སངས་རྒྱས་བསྟན་དང་བསྟན་འཛིན་རྣམས།  །

sangye ten dang tendzin nam

Carry out your activity of causing the teachings

དར་ཞིང་རྒྱས་པའི་ཕྲིན་ལས་མཛོད།  །

dar zhing gyepé trinlé dzö

And the holders of the teachings to prosper and flourish,

བདག་ཅག་ཡོན་མཆོད་འཁོར་བཅས་ལ།  །

dakchak yönchö khor ché la

For us practitioners, our patrons and those around us,

བྱད་ཕུར་རྦོད་གཏོང་གནོད་པ་བཟློག  །

jepur bötong nöpa dok

Avert all harm through sorcery and spell-casting,

འབྱུང་པོ་གདུག་པས་མི་འཚེ་ཞིང་།  །

jungpo dukpé mi tsé zhing

Prevent the violence of malevolent spirits,

ནད་རིམས་འཁོན་འཁྲུགས་ཞི་བ་དང་།  །

né rim khön truk zhiwa dang

Pacify disease, enmity and conflict,

ཚེ་རིང་ནད་མེད་དཔལ་འབྱོར་རྒྱས།  །

tsering nemé paljor gyé

Improve vitality and health, increase affluence,

ཅི་བསམ་ཡིད་བཞིན་འགྲུབ་པ་དང་།  །

chi sam yizhin drubpa dang

Fulfil our every wish, just as we desire,

བཀྲ་ཤིས་བདེ་ལེགས་ཕུན་ཚོགས་ཤོག  །

tashi delek püntsok shok

Make everything perfectly auspicious, virtuous and well.

རྟག་ཏུ་མི་འབྲལ་སྲུངས་སྐྱོབས་མཛོད།  །

taktu mindral sung kyob dzö

And without ever parting, guard and watch over us.

 

ཅེས་པའང་དྷཱ་ཀི་ཚེ་རིང་ཆོས་སྒྲོན་གྱིས་ལྷ་རྫས་བཅས་ཐུགས་དམ་བྱ་རྒྱུར་གསུང་བསྐུལ་ངོར།  ཆོས་ཀྱི་བློ་གྲོས་པས་དཔལ་ས་སྐྱའི་མགོན་ཁང་བསེ་འབག་ཡིད་བཞིན་ནོར་བུའི་དྲུང་དུ་བྲིས་པ་ཤིན་ཏུ་བྱིན་ཆེ་ཞིང་དོན་དང་ལྡན་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབ་ཏུ་གསོལ།  མངྒ་ལཾ།།  །།

In response to a request, accompanied by an offering of divine silk, from the ḍākinī Tsering Chödrön, who needed just such a practice, I, Chökyi Lodrö wrote this in the presence of the wish-fulfilling jewel sé-mask in the protectors’ temple at Sakya. May it become imbued with great blessings and significance. Maṅgalaṃ.
