Oṃ svasti.

འཇམ་དབྱངས་བླ་མའི་བྱིན་རླབས་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་གཏེར།    །

jamyang lamé jinlab tukjé ter

Treasury of the compassion and blessings of the Mañjughoṣa guru,

སྙིགས་དུས་བསྟན་འགྲོའི་མགོན་དུ་འཕོས་པ་ལས།    །

nyikdü ten drö gön du pöpa lé

Appearing as a guardian of the teachings and beings in this decadent age—

ངོ་མཚར་སྐྱེས་ཆེན་བརྒྱུད་མར་བྱོན་པ་ཡི།    །

ngotsar kyé chen gyü mar jönpa yi

May the brilliant light from the wondrous masters of your lineage

བཀྲ་ཤིས་སྣང་བས་རྟག་ཏུ་ཤིས་གྱུར་ཅིག  །

tashi nangwé taktu shi gyur chik

Bring about auspiciousness for evermore.

མཁྱེན་རབ་དག་ཅིང་གཙང་བའི་ཨ་དརྴར།    །

khyen rab dak ching tsangwé adar shar

In the adarśa of your pure and pristine knowledge¹

ཕྱི་ནང་ཆོས་ཚུལ་འབུམ་ཕྲག་གཟུགས་བརྙན་འཆར།    །

chinang chö tsul bumtrak zuknyen char

Are reflected the myriad modes of Dharma, outer and inner.

སྐལ་བཟང་འགྲོ་ལ་ལེགས་པའི་ལམ་སྟོན་པ།    །

kalzang dro la lekpé lam tönpa

You who teach the excellent path to fortunate beings,

བྱམས་པ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་འོད་ཟེར་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ།    །

jampa chökyi özer zhabten sol

Jampa Chökyi Özer, may your life be long.

མདོ་སྔགས་ཐུན་མོང་ཐུན་མིན་ཐེག་པ་རྣམས།    །

do ngak tünmong tünmin tekpa nam

You who fearlessly explain with unfailing accuracy

ཀུན་མཁྱེན་བསྟན་པའི་ཉི་མའི་བཞེད་སྲོལ་བཞིན།    །

künkhyen tenpé nyimé zhé sol zhin

The common and uncommon vehicles of sūtra and mantra,

མ་འདྲེས་ཇི་བཞིན་འཆད་ལ་བསྙེངས་བྲལ་བ།    །

ma dré jizhin ché la nyeng dralwa

According to the tradition of the omniscient sun of the teachings—

ཟླ་གྲགས་གཉིས་པ་ཡུན་དུ་འཚོ་གཞེས་གསོལ།    །

da drak nyipa yündu tsozhé sol

Second Candrakīrti, I pray that you live long.

ས་སྐྱའི་འཇམ་མགོན་བརྒྱུད་པར་བཅས་པ་ཡི།    །

sakyé jamgön gyüpar chepa yi

Through the power of your understanding of the approach and exegesis

བཞེད་གཞུང་བློ་གྲོས་ཤེ་མོང་བཙན་པོའི་མཐུས།    །

zhé zhung lodrö shé mong tsenpö tü

Of the Mañjunātha gurus of Sakya together with their lineage,

ལུང་རིགས་བློ་ཡི་ཡོལ་གོར་འདེགས་བཟོད་པ།    །

lung rik lo yi yolgor dek zöpa

You carry the tradition of scripture and reasoning in the vessel of your mind—

སྨྲ་བའི་དབང་ཕྱུག་ཆེན་པོ་འཚོ་གཞེས་གསོལ།    །

mawé wangchuk chenpo tsozhé sol

Great and mighty expositor, I pray that you live long.

ཕྱི་རུ་རྣམ་དག་ཁྲིམས་ཀྱི་རྒྱུད་བསྡོམས་ཤིང་།    །

chi ru namdak trim kyi gyü dom shing

Outwardly, you are bound by observance of pure ethics;

ནང་དུ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ལ་ཐུགས་རྒྱུད་འབྱོངས།    །

nang du changchub sem la tukgyü jong

Inwardly, you have mastered bodhicitta in your heart;

གསང་བ་བསྐྱེད་རྫོགས་གྲུབ་པའི་བརྟུལ་ཞུགས་འཆང་།    །

sangwa kyedzok drubpé tulzhuk chang

Secretly, your conduct is that of an adept of generation and completion—

སུམ་ལྡན་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཛིན་པ་འཚོ་གཞེས་གསོལ།    །

sumden dorjé dzinpa tsozhé sol

Great vajra holder of the threefold vows, I pray that you live long.

ཆོས་སྨྲ་འཇིག་རྟེན་གསུམ་གྱི་རྒྱན་ཡིན་ཏེ།    །

chöma jikten sum gyi gyen yin té

Exponent of Dharma, adornment for the threefold world,

ཇི་སྲིད་གནས་བར་འགྲོ་བའི་སྒྲོན་མེར་གྱུར།    །

jisi newar drowé drönmer gyur

Remain as a beacon of light for all living beings

དེ་སྲིད་སྐུ་ལ་བསྙེལ་བ་མི་མངའ་བར།    །

desi ku la nyelwa mi ngawar

For as long as existence itself endures

མདོ་སྔགས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྔ་ཆེན་སྒྲོགས་གྱུར་ཅིག  །

do ngak chökyi nga chen drok gyur chik

And sound the great dharma-drum of sūtra and mantra!

ཅེས་པའང་སྙིགས་མའི་དུས་འདིར་རིས་སུ་མེད་པའི་ཆོས་ཀྱི་མཛོད་འཛིན་ཅིང་།  ཁྱད་པར་རྗེ་བཙུན་ས་སྐྱ་པའི་བརྒྱུད་འཛིན་སྨྲ་མཁས་ཀུན་གྱི་གཙུག་གི་ནོར་བུར་གྱུར་པ་མཁྱེན་རབ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་འོད་ཟེར་ཞབས་བརྟན་འདིའང་།  དབོན་སྟོད་ལྷུན་པོ་རྩེའི་སློབ་གྲྭ་ནས་གང་གི་ཞལ་སློབ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཀྲ་ཤིས་པའི་ལྷ་རྫས་རིན་གཉིས་འཁོར་ལོ་མི་ཟད་ལྔའི་གྲངས་ལྡན་དང་བཅས་པའི་གསུང་གི་བསྐུལ་ངོར་དགེ་སྦྱོང་གི་རྟགས་ཙམ་འཛིན་པ་འཇམ་དབྱངས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བློ་གྲོས་པས་བྲིས་པ་དོན་དང་ལྡན་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག  །སརྦ་དཱ་མངྒ་ལཾ།།    །།

This prayer for the longevity of Khyenrab Chökyi Özer, who holds the treasury of Dharma without sectarian bias in this age of degeneration and is the crown jewel of all learned teachers upholding the lineage of the Jetsün Sakya in particular, was written by Jamyang Chökyi Lodrö, who possesses merely the signs of a virtuous practitioner, in response to a request from the master's own students from Öntö Lhünpo Tsé, who offered auspicious silk scarves together with silver coins equal in number to the five unending wheels of adornment.
