om swasti

Oṃ svasti.

དཀོན་མཆོག་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་རང་གཟུགས་ཨོ་རྒྱན་རྗེའི། །

könchok gyatsö rang zuk orgyen jé

The regent of Lord Orgyen, embodiment of an ocean of precious ones,

རྒྱལ་ཚབ་སྤྲུལ་པའི་གཏེར་ཆེན་མཆོག་གྱུར་གླིང་། །

gyaltsab trulpé terchen chokgyur ling

Was the great emanated treasure-revealer Chokgyur Lingpa,

བསམ་བཞིན་བྱོན་པའི་ཟློས་གར་འགྱུར་བ་མེད། །

samzhin jönpé dögar gyurwamé

Whose intentional manifestations appear in an unchanging dance-like display—

བསྟན་པའི་རྒྱལ་མཚན་སྒྲེངས་མཛད་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ། །

tenpé gyaltsen dreng dzé zhabten sol

Raiser of the victory banner of the teachings, I pray that you live long.

རིག་འཛིན་གཞོན་ནུ་བདུད་སྡེའི་གཡུལ་ལས་རྒྱལ། །

rigdzin zhönnu dü dé yul lé gyal

Youthful vidyādhara, victorious in the battle with Māra’s hordes,

སྐུ་ཚེ་མི་ཤིག་རྡོ་རྗེའི་རྒྱ་ཡིས་སྡོམ། །

kutsé mi shik dorjé gya yi dom

I pray that your life may remain indestructible, secured with the vajra seal,

མཁྱེན་ནུས་བརྩེ་བའི་རྩལ་ཆེན་རྫོགས་པ་དང་། །

khyen nü tsewé tsal chen dzokpa dang

Your vast potential for knowledge, capacity and love may fully manifest,

བསྟན་འགྲོར་ཕན་བདེ་སྦྱིན་མཛད་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ། །

ten dror pendé jin dzé zhabten sol

And you may bring benefit and happiness to the teachings and beings.

བསླུ་མེད་རྩ་བ་གསུམ་གྱི་བདེན་པ་དང་། །

lumé tsawa sum gyi denpa dang

Through the unfailing truth of the Three Roots,

ཁྱད་པར་མཆོག་གཏེར་བླ་མ་ལྷག་པའི་ལྷས། །

khyepar chok ter lama lhakpé lhé

Especially the gurus and supreme deities of Chokling Tersar,

བྱིན་རླབས་འོད་ཟེར་རྡོ་རྗེའི་གོ་ཆ་ཡིས། །

jinlab özer dorjé gocha yi

May you always be protected by the rays of blessed light

འབྲལ་བ་མེད་པར་སྲུངས་སྐྱོབས་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །

dralwa mepar sung kyob dzé du sol

And an inseparable shield of indestructible vajra armour.

ཅེས་པའང་མཆོག་གླིང་སྐུ་ཕྲེང་གསུམ་པའི་སྐྱེ་སྲིད་ཀྱི་ཞབས་བརྟན་དགོས་ཞེས་ཀེ་ལ་ཕྱག་མཛོད་རྡོ་རྗེ་སེངྒེ་ནས་ལྷ་རྫས་བཅས་བསྐུལ་ངོར་འཇམ་དབྱངས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བློ་གྲོས་དང་བཀྲ་ཤིས་དཔལ་འབྱོར་ཟུང་ནས་ཤིང་ལུག་ཆོ་འཕྲུལ་ཟླ་བའི་ཚེས་བཅུ་ཐུགས་སྒྲུབ་བསམ་པ་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ཀྱི་ཚོགས་མཆོད་སྐབས་བྲིས་པ་དགེའོ།། །།

Thus, in response to a request from Dorje Senggé, the treasurer of Kela, who expressed the need for a long-life prayer for the reincarnation of the Third Chokling incarnation and who accompanied this request with the gift of a divine silk scarf, Jamyang Chökyi Lodrö and Tashi Paljor wrote this jointly while offering a gaṇacakra feast of the Spontaneous Fulfilment of Wishes Heart-Practice (Tukdrup Sampa Lhundrup) on the tenth day of the Month of Miracles in the Wood Sheep year.¹ May it prove virtuous!
