༄༅། །རྒྱལ་ཆེན་རྣམ་ཐོས་སྲས་ཀྱི་བསྟོད་པ་ངལ་བསོས་དགྱེས་གླུ།

A Song to Delight Vaiśravaṇa

Praise of the Great King Vaiśravaṇa

ཧཱུྃ། །རིན་ཆེན་ཕོ་བྲང་ཡངས་ཤིང་བཀོད་མཛེས་ནང་། །

hung, rinchen podrang yang shing kö dzé nang

Hūṃ. Within the jewelled palace, vast and beautiful,

གདོང་ལྔའི་ཁྲི་ལ་ངལ་བསོས་སྟོབས་པོ་ཆེ། །

dong ngé tri la ngalsö tobpo ché

Is the mighty Vaiśravaṇa upon a lion throne,

གཏེར་བདག་བྱེ་བའི་གཙུག་ན་རབ་མཛེས་ཤིང་། །

terdak jewé tsuk na rab dzé shing

Resplendent at the head of millions of treasure-keepers—

རབ་བརྗིད་གསེར་གྱི་མདོག་ཅན་ཁྱོད་ལ་བསྟོད། །

rab ji ser gyi dokchen khyö la tö

Magnificent one, golden in colour, to you I offer praise.

རིན་ཆེན་རྒྱལ་མཚན་འདོད་འབྱུང་ནེའུ་ལེ་འཛིན། །

rinchen gyaltsen döjung né'u lé dzin

Holding a jewelled banner and wish-granting mongoose,

རིན་ཆེན་རྒྱན་དང་རབ་མཛེས་ཅོད་པན་གསོལ། །

rinchen gyen dang rab dzé chöpen sol

Wearing jewelled ornaments and a resplendent crown,

ཞལ་ནས་རིན་ཆེན་ཆར་པ་འབེབས་མཛད་པ། །

zhal né rinchen charpa beb dzepa

You let fall from your mouth a rain of precious gems —

ཕོངས་པ་ཀུན་སེལ་རྣམ་ཐོས་སྲས་ལ་བསྟོད། །

pongpa kün sel namtö sé la tö

Vaiśravaṇa, dispeller of all poverty, to you I offer praise.

གཞན་གྱི་དཔུང་རྣམས་མ་ལུས་འཇོམས་མཛད་ཅིང་། །

zhen gyi pung nam malü jom dzé ching

You conquer all external forces without exception,

བུམ་བཟང་དཔག་བསམ་ཤིང་དང་རིན་ཆེན་ཤིང་། །

bum zang paksam shing dang rinchen shing

And control the excellent vase, wish-granting tree,

རྫིང་བུ་བཟང་དང་འདོད་འཇོའི་བ་ལ་སོགས། །

dzingbu zang dang döjöba lasok

Jewel tree, magic pool and wishing cow of plenty—

གནོད་སྦྱིན་གཏེར་གྱི་བདག་པོ་ཆེ་ལ་བསྟོད། །

nöjin ter gyi dakpo ché la tö

Great master of the yakṣas’ wealth, to you I offer praise.

གནོད་སྦྱིན་ཛཾ་བྷ་ལ་དང་གང་བ་བཟང་། །

nöjin dzam bhala dang gangwa zang

The yakṣas Jambhala, Pūrṇabhadra,

ནོར་བཟང་ཀུ་བེ་ར་དང་ཡང་དག་ཤེས། །

norzang ku bé ra dang yangdak shé

Kubera, Sañjñeya,

འབྲོག་གནས་ལྔས་རྩེན་པཱི་རྩི་ཀུནྜ་ལཱི། །

drok né ngé tsen pi tsi kunda li

Āṭavaka, Pañcika, and Picikuṇḍalin,

རང་རྟགས་ཕྱག་མཚན་འཛིན་ཅིང་རྟ་ལ་ཆིབས། །

rang tak chaktsen dzin ching ta la chib

Each holding their own hand implements and riding horses—

གནོད་སྦྱིན་འཁོར་ཚོགས་རྒྱ་མཚོར་ཕྱག་འཚལ་བསྟོད། །

nöjin khor tsok gyatsor chaktsal tö

To the oceanic retinue of yakṣas, I offer praise.

རྒྱ་ཆེན་མཆོད་སྦྱིན་གཏོར་མ་འདི་བཞེས་ལ། །

gyachen chöjin torma di zhé la

Accept this torma, this vast source of offerings,

བདག་ཅག་འཁོར་བཅས་བུ་བཞིན་སྐྱོང་བ་དང་། །

dakchak khorché bu zhin kyongwa dang

And care for us and those around us as you would your own children.

གདུག་པའི་དགྲ་བགེགས་ཐལ་བར་རློག་པ་དང་། །

dukpé dragek talwar lokpa dang

Pulverize malicious enemies and obstructing forces,

ཞི་རྒྱས་དབང་དང་མངོན་སྤྱོད་ལས་སྣ་ཚོགས། །

zhi gyé wang dang ngönchö lé natsok

And swiftly carry out the various forms of activity—

མྱུར་དུ་འགྲུབ་པའི་ཕྲིན་ལས་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །

nyurdu drubpé trinlé dzé du sol

Pacifying, enriching, magnetizing and subjugating—as we request you.

ཐུབ་པའི་བསྟན་པ་རིན་ཆེན་སྲུང་བ་དང་། །

tubpé tenpa rinchen sungwa dang

Guard the precious teachings of the Muni,

བསྟན་འཛིན་འདུས་པའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་དབུ་འཕང་བསྟོད། །

tendzin düpé tsok kyi upang tö

Elevate the status of those who hold the lineage,

ཆོས་སྐྱོང་རྒྱལ་པོའི་མངའ་ཐང་རབ་རྒྱས་ཤིང་། །

chökyong gyalpö ngatang rabgyé shing

Extend the dominion of the Dharma-protecting king,

འཇིག་རྟེན་བདེ་ཞིང་དར་བའི་ཕྲིན་ལས་མཛོད། །

jikten dé zhing darwé trinlé dzö

And carry out your activity of bringing happiness to this world.

ཅེས་པའང་འཇམ་དབྱངས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བློ་གྲོས་པས་བྲིས་པ་སརྦ་ཨརྠ་སིདྡྷིར་བྷ་བ་ཏུ། །
