Sengé Dzong Praise
The Right-Coiling Conch of Auspiciousness[1]
A Brief Praise of the Sacred Site of the Awakened Activity

Spiritual consort of the great, glorious demon-tamer Sengé Dradrok,[2]
Who received the mandate to practice Awakened Activity[3] at Mönkha Nering Jong,
Renowned as Yeshe Tsogyal, born into the Kharchen clan—
Mahāsiddhā, who restored a slain woman’s corpse to life, you I recall.
Within the lake—the undrawn maṇḍala of Kīla—
Lies the naturally arisen mark of the three secrets, an unfabricated kīla.
And the great rock cavern is the unconstructed celestial palace of Kīla.
To this uncreated, naturally arisen, spontaneously accomplished sacred site, I pay homage!
May the four piercing kīlas strike down the four māras.[4]
May we perfect the four measures and be freed from the faults of the four defects.
May we perfect the four qualities and be released from the snare of the four obstructing māras.
May we accomplish the four vidyādhara stages and attain the four kāyas!
May the four types of beings[5] throughout space be tamed.
May the four immeasurables serve as the cause and condition for their taming.
May the four enlightened activities skillfully and effectively tame beings.
And once they are tamed, may they swiftly accomplish the four wisdoms.
In the past, the supreme tulku requested such a text. More recently, although I was unable to travel to the actual site, with unwavering devotion to the Guru and his consort, I, Pema Trinlé Nyingpo, composed this aspiration prayer following a Kīla feast offering beside the perpetually flowing water stream that connects to that supreme site of activity. Virtue!
