༄༅། །ཀུན་མཁྱེན་ཀློང་ཆེན་རབ་འབྱམས་ཀྱི་གསོལ་འདེབས།

Prayer to the Omniscient Longchen Rabjam

འཛམ་གླིང་མཛེས་པའི་རྒྱན་དྲུག་མཆོག་གཉིས་དང༌། །

dzamling dzepé gyen druk chok nyi dang

The Six Ornaments and Two Supreme Ones beautify this world of ours.

ཐུགས་རྗེ་ལུང་རྟོགས་མཉམ་པའི་མཐུ་མངའ་ཡང༌། །

tukjé lungtok nyampé tu nga yang

In the depth of your compassion, learning and realization, you are their equal,

ནགས་ཁྲོད་དམ་པར་སྦས་པའི་བརྟུལ་ཞུགས་ཀྱིས། །

naktrö dampar bepé tulzhuk kyi

Yet as a hidden yogi, Longchenpa, you practise in forest retreats,

འཁོར་འདས་ཆོས་སྐུར་རྫོགས་པའི་ཀློང་ཆེན་པ། །

khordé chökur dzokpé longchenpa

And perfect saṃsāra and nirvāṇa as dharmakāya—

དྲི་མེད་འོད་ཟེར་ཞབས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

drimé özer zhab la solwa deb

Drimé Özer—'Stainless Light’—at your feet I pray.

སེམས་ཉིད་གནས་ལུགས་རྟོགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

semnyi neluk tokpar jingyi lob

Grant your blessing so I may realize the natural state, the true nature of mind!¹
