ཨོཾ་སྭསྟི།

om swasti

Oṃ svasti!

འཇ༵མ་དབྱང༵ས་མཁྱེན་པའི་ཆུ་གཏེར་ལས་འཁྲུངས་ཤིང་། །

jamyang khyenpé chuter lé trung shing

Born from the lake of Mañjughoṣa’s wisdom (Jamyang Khyentse),

ཆོས༵་ཀྱི༵་རྒྱ༵་མཚོ༵འི་མངའ་བདག་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཅན། །

chökyi gyatsö ngadak dorjé chen

You are the adamantine sovereign of the oceanic dharma.

རིགས་གསུམ་དབྱེར་མེད་མཆོག་གི་སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུ། །

rik sum yermé chok gi trulpé ku

Supreme emanation inseparable from the three protectors.¹

གསང་གསུམ་འཕོ་མེད་རྟག་པར་བཞུགས་གསོལ་འདེབས། །

sang sum pomé takpar zhuk soldeb

I pray to you: may your three secrets remain without change.

སྡོམ་གསུམ་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་རྣམ་དག་གསེར་གྱི་གཞིར། །

dom sum tsultrim namdak ser gyi zhir

Upon the golden ground of the three sets of vows kept purely,

མཐའ་ཀླས་གསན་བསམ་སྒོམ་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན་གཏེར། །

talé sen sam gompé yönten ter

The treasures—qualities of boundless study, contemplation and meditation—

མཐར་སོན་ནོར་བུའི་མཛོད་ལྡན་རོལ་མཚོས་མཛེས། །

tar sön norbü dzöden roltsö dzé

Are perfected within the peaceful ocean of your mind, a beautiful treasury of gems.

མཆོག་གི་སྤྲུལ་སྐུའི་གསང་གསུམ་རྟག་བརྟན་ཤོག །

chok gi tulkü sang sum takten shok

Supreme tulku, may your three secrets remain forever.

བཤད་བརྒྱུད་ཀ་ཆེན་བཅུ་ཡི་རིང་ལུགས་སྤེལ། །

shé gyü ka chen chu yi ringluk pel

May your extraordinary actions—of cultivating a learned and accomplished saṅgha,

སྒྲུབ་བརྒྱུད་ཤིང་རྟའི་སྨིན་གྲོལ་རྒྱུན་མི་ཆད། །

drubgyü shingté mindrol gyün mi ché

Explaining and spreading the long-standing tradition of the Ten Great Pillars,²

མཁས་བཙུན་གྲུབ་པའི་འདུས་ཚོགས་རྟག་སྐྱོང་མཛད། །

khé tsün drubpé dü tsok tak kyong dzö

Along with the flow of the ripening empowerments and liberating instructions of the pioneers of the practice lineage—endure.

ངོ་མཚར་སྣང་བ་རྟག་ཏུ་རྒྱས་གྱུར་ཅིག  །

ngotsar nangwa taktu gyal gyur chik

And may your wondrous illuminating influence expand and increase for evermore!

ཅེས་མཆོག་གི་སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུའི་ཞབས་བརྟན་དུ་འབྲུག་བཙུན་ཤེས་རབ་རྒྱལ་མཚན་ནས་རྟེན་བཅས་བསྐུལ་བ་བཞིན་རྗེ་བཙུན་འཇམ་མགོན་ཡབ་སྲས་དགྱེས་པའི་འབངས་ཐེག་མཆོག་བསྟན་པའི་རྒྱལ་མཚན་གྱིས་བྲིས་ཏེ་སྨོན་པ་བཞིན་འགྲུབ་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག།    །།

The attendant of the sublime tulku, the Bhutanese monastic Sherab Gyaltsen, made an offering and requested a longevity supplication. Accordingly, I, Thekchok Tenpe Gyaltsen, a happy follower of the Gentle Protector, father and son, made this aspiration and wrote it down.
