Yarlha Shampo Praise
The Auspicious Pair of Golden Fish[1]
A Brief Praise of the Sacred Site of Mamo Bötong

Heart disciple of vidyādhara Guru Nyima Özer,[2]
Who received the mandate to practice Mamo Bötong at the sacred Shampo cave,
Renowned as Palgyi Yeshé, born into the Drokmi clan—
Mahāsiddha, who brought the mamos into service, you I recall.
Within the expanse of É, embracing the three realms and the ten directions,
The channels, winds, and essences are in nature the serene and blissful queen, Mukhale.[3]
Within the the bhaga of Samantabhadrī—luminosity, awareness, and emptiness inseperable—
May all beings effortlessly accomplish the Fully Perfected King![4]
This aspiration prayer was composed by Pema Trinlé Nyingpo before the snowy peak of Yarlha Shampo, on the occasion of completing the Khandro Gongdü feast offering. May it become virtuous and excellent!
