Gesar Invocation and Offering
འུྃ༔ དག་སྣང་ལས་གེ་སར་གསོལ་མཆོད་འདོད་དོན་མྱུར་འགྲུབ་བཞུགས༔
Gesar Invocation and Offering for the Swift Fulfillment of Wishes from a Pure Vision

ན་མོ་པདྨ་ཀྲོ་ཏ་ཡེ༔
Namo padma-krodhāya!
གང་ཞིག་རྣལ་འབྱོར་ལྡན་པ་ཡིས༔
སེང་ཆེན་དཔའ་བོ་མཆོད་པའི་ཐབས༔
འདོད་དོན་མྱུར་འགྲུབ་འདི་རུ་བསྟན༔
For those endowed with yogic practice,
here is the offering method to the Great Lion Hero,
for the swift fulfillment of wishes.
གསེར་སྐྱེམས་ལ་སོགས་ཅི་འབྱོར་བཤམས༔
ནམ་མཁའ་མཛོད་ཀྱིས་བྱིན་གྱི་བརླབས༔
ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་གིས་བདུད་རྩིར་བསྒྱུར༔
Arrange golden drink offerings and whatever else you have,
bless them with the sky-treasury,
and transform them into nectar with oṃ āḥ hūṃ.
དེ་ནས་གསོལ་མཆོད་བྱ་བ་ནི༔
Then, for the invocation and offering:
ཧཱུཾ༔ རིགས་གསུམ་པད་འབྱུང་སྤྲུལ་པ་སེང་ཆེན་རྒྱལ༔
hung, rik sum pejung trulpa sengchen gyal
Hūṃ. Great Lion, King Gesar, emanation of the Three Families and Padmasambhava,
གེ་སར་ནོར་བུ་དགྲ་འདུལ་སྤྲུལ་འཁོར་དཔུང༔
gesar norbu dradul trulkhor pung
Gesar Norbu Dradül, with your emanated retinue and troops,
མ་ལུས་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ༔
malü khor dang chepa tamché la
To all of you and your entire host,
གསོལ་ལོ་མཆོད་དོ་ཐུགས་དམ་གཉན་པོ་བསྐང༔
sol lo chö do tukdam nyenpo kang
I offer and pray that you fulfill your solemn vow.
བདག་གི་འདོད་དོན་མ་ལུས་ཀུན་འགྲུབ་མཛོད༔
dak gi dödön malü kün drub dzö
Accomplish all my wishes without exception!
ཁྱད་པར་ཚེ་ཆོས་བསོད་ནམས་དབང་ཐང་ལ༔
khyepar tsé chö sönam wangtang la
May harm-doers, enemies and obstructing forces in particular,
བར་དུ་གཅོད་པའི་གནོད་བྱེད་དགྲ་བགེགས་རྣམས༔
bardu chöpé nöjé dragek nam
Who would obstruct our lifespan, Dharma, merit, and power,
མིང་ཙམ་མེད་པར་ཐལ་བའི་རྡུལ་དུ་རློག༔
ming tsam mepar talwé dul du lok
Be crushed to dust, so not even their name remains!
བཀའ་དང་དམ་ལ་མ་འདའ་ས་མ་ཡ༔
ka dang dam la ma da samaya
Do not break your word and vows—samaya!
ཅི་བཅོལ་ཕྲིན་ལས་མ་ལུས་འགྲུབ་པར་མཛོད༔
chi chol trinlé malü drubpar dzö
Accomplish all activities entrusted to you without exception!
ཅེས་བརྗོད་གང་བསམས་འགྲུབ་པར་ངེས༔ ས་མ་ཡཿ༔
Recite this and your wishes will certainly be fulfilled. Samaya!
ཞེས་དད་ལྡན་མི་དབང་ལྡན་མིང་འཛིན་པས་རིན་ཆེན་གཉིས་པའི་སྐྱེས་བཅས་བསྐུལ་ངོ་མི་ལྡོག་ཙམ་དུ་སུ་ཁ་བཛྲ་གྱིས་བྲིས་པའོ། །དགེའོ། །
Sukha Vajra wrote this simply to avoid turning down a request—accompanied by a gift of silver—from the faithful person bearing the name of Wangden. May it be virtuous!
