༄༅། །ཡང་གསང་བླ་མའི་སྒྲུབ་པ་ཐིག་ལེའི་རྒྱ་ཅན་གྱི་བརྒྱུད་འདེབས་བྱིན་རླབས་ཆར་འབེབ་བཞུགས་སོ།།

The Shower of Blessings

A Prayer to the Lineage of The Sealed Quintessence, the Innermost Secret Guru Practice

ཀུན་བཟང་རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའ་དགའ་རབ་རྗེ། །

kunzang dorjé sempa garab jé

Samantabhadra, Vajrasattva, Garab Dorje,

འཇམ་དཔལ་བཤེས་གཉེན་ཤྲཱི་སིཾ་ཧ་དང་།

jampal shenyen shiri singha dang

Mañjuśrīmitra, Śrī Siṃha,

ཛྙཱ་ན་སཱུ་ཏྲ་དྲི་མེད་བཤེས་གཉེན་ལ། །

jnanasutra drimé shenyen la

Jñānasūtra and Vimalamitra—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྩོལ། །

solwa deb so dorjé yeshe tsol

To you I pray, grant me the vajra wisdom!

 

མཚོ་སྐྱེས་རྡོ་རྗེ་རྗེ་འབངས་གྲོགས་གསུམ་དང་། །

tsokyé dorjé jebang drok sum dang

Lake Born Vajra,¹ the Lord, subject and companion,²

འོད་གསལ་སྙིང་པོའི་ཤིང་རྟ་ཀློང་ཆེན་པ། །

ösal nyingpö shingta longchenpa

Pioneer of the teachings of the luminous essence, Longchenpa,

དབྱེར་མེད་ཀུན་མཁྱེན་འཇིགས་བྲལ་གླིང་པ་ལ། །

yermé künkhyen jikdral lingpa la

And, indivisible from him, the omniscient Jigdral Lingpa—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྩོལ། །

solwa deb so dorjé yeshe tsol

To you I pray, grant me the vajra wisdom!

 

ཕྱོགས་བཅུ་དུས་བཞིའི་རྒྱལ་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི། །

chok chu dü zhi gyalwa tamché kyi

Root guru, universal embodiment of the wisdom, love and power

མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་ནུས་གསུམ་གཅིག་ཏུ་བསྡུས་པའི་དངོས། །

khyen tsé nü sum chik tu düpé ngö

Of all the buddhas of the ten directions and four times,

དྲན་པས་གདུང་སེལ་རྩ་བའི་བླ་མ་ལ། །

drenpé dung sel tsawé lama la

The mere thought of whom dispels all anguish—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྩོལ། །

solwa deb so dorjé yeshe tsol

To you I pray, grant me the vajra wisdom!

 

དེ་ལྟར་སྙིང་ནས་གུས་པས་གསོལ་བཏབ་མཐུས། །

detar nying né güpé soltab tü

Through the power of this ardent, heartfelt prayer,

སྲིད་ལས་ངེས་འབྱུང་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་གཉིས་འབྱོངས། །

si lé ngejung changchub sem nyi jong

May I renounce worldly existence and perfect twofold bodhicitta.

དཔལ་ལྡན་བླ་མས་རྗེས་བཟུང་གསང་ཆེན་གྱི། །

palden lamé jezung sang chen gyi

Bless me that I may be cared for by the glorious guru

སྨིན་གྲོལ་བདུད་རྩི་ཐོབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས།

mindrol dütsi tobpar jingyi lob

And receive the nectar of the ripening and liberating instructions of the great secret!

 

ཁྱད་པར་དབེན་ཞིང་ཉམས་དགའི་རི་སུལ་དུ། །

khyepar wen zhing nyamgé ri sul du

In particular, bless me that in remote and pleasant mountain locations,

ཡང་གསང་བླ་མའི་བསྙེན་སྒྲུབ་མཐར་ཕྱིན་པས། །

yangsang lamé nyendrub tarchinpé

I may perfect the approach and accomplishment of the innermost secret guru practice,

ཀུན་མཁྱེན་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྐུས། །

künkhyen chö kyi gyalpö yeshe kü

And be cared for by the wisdom body

མངོན་སུམ་རྗེས་སུ་བཟུང་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

ngönsum jesu zungwar jingyi lob

Of the omniscient King of Dharma himself!

 

དོན་བརྒྱུད་དགོངས་པའི་རྩལ་ཆེན་སྙིང་ལ་ཞུགས། །

dön gyü gongpé tsal chen nying la zhuk

Bless me that the powerful energy of the ultimate lineage’s wisdom may enter my heart,

ཅིར་སྣང་བླ་མར་ཤར་བའི་བསྐྱེད་རིམ་དང་། །

chir nang lamar sharwé kyerim dang

And, through the practice of the generation phase in which all perception dawns as the guru

ཐུགས་ཡིད་གཅིག་འདྲེས་ཟབ་མོའི་རྫོགས་རིམ་གྱིས། །

tuk yi chik dré zabmö dzokrim gyi

And the profound perfection phase wherein wisdom and mind merge as one,

ཆོས་ཀུན་ཟད་སར་འཁྱོལ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

chö kün zé sar khyolwar jingyi lob

I may reach the stage of the exhaustion of all phenomena!

 

སྣོད་བཅུད་ཐིག་ལེ་ཆེན་པོའི་དབྱིངས་སུ་ཐིམ། །

nöchü tiklé chenpö ying su tim

Bless me that environment and beings may dissolve into the space of the great sphere,

སྣང་སྲིད་སྐུ་གསུམ་རིག་པའི་རོལ་པར་ཤར། །

nangsi ku sum rigpé rolpar shar

And appearance and existence may arise as the three kāyas, the display of awareness.

ནང་གསལ་ཁྱད་ཆོས་དྲུག་ལྡན་གདོད་མའི་ཀློང་། །

nangsal khyechö drukden dömé long

Bless me that within the primordial expanse of inner radiance, endowed with six special features,

མཐར་ཐུག་གྲུབ་མཐའ་སྙོག་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

tartuk drubta nyokpar jingyi lob

I may reach the ultimate culmination of philosophical tenets!

 

དེ་ལས་སླར་ཡང་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་རྩལ། །

dé lé lar yang lhündrub tukjé tsal

Bless me that then, once more, through the power of spontaneously present compassion,

ནམ་མཁའ་ཇི་སྲིད་བར་དུ་འཆར་བ་ཡིས། །

namkha jisi bardu charwa yi

I may continue to arise for as long as space exists,

ཀུན་བཟང་རིག་འཛིན་བླ་མའི་གོ་འཕང་ཆེར། །

kunzang rigdzin lamé gopang cher

And, at the great level of Samantabhadra, the vidyādhara guru,

འགྲོ་ཀུན་ཕྱམ་གཅིག་གྲོལ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

dro kün chamchik drolwar jingyi lob

I may simultaneously liberate all beings!

 

ཞེས་པའང་གྲུབ་པའི་དཔྱིད་མཁྱེན་བརྩེའི་དབང་པོས་དཔལ་ལྡན་པདྨ་འོད་གླིང་དུ་གང་ཤར་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་པའོ། །ཤུ་བྷཾ།། །།

The supreme practitioner Khyentse Wangpo wrote down and prayed whatever came to mind at glorious Pema Ö Ling. Śubhaṃ.
