Praise

This praise of Kyechok Tsulzang (skyes mchog tshul bzang), also known as Lama Norlha, honors the third of Guru Padmasambhava’s twelve emanations as described in the Tukdrup Barché Kunsel (thugs sgrub bar chad kun sel). The text is composed as an acrostic: the first syllable of each line follows the sequence of the Tibetan alphabet, concluding with the vowels.

This practice invokes Lama Norlha as Kyechok Tsülzang (skyes mchog tshul bzang), the third of Guru Padmasambhava’s twelve emanations according to the Tukdrup Barché Kunsel (thugs sgrub bar chad kun sel) maṇḍala. Jamgön Kongtrul created a sādhana from Chokgyur Lingpa's original revelation, which Tsikey Chokling Rinpoche here abbreviates and, in places, augments.
